Ejött hát a harmadik Gyűrűk Ura csoki ideje!

Ez pediglen Legolas bonbonja lett. Legolas ugyan a könyv első részében nem sok vizet zavar (mondhatni unalmas szépfiú :D), de szerencsére a filmben több szerepet kapott, így ott jobban megismerhetjük. A bakacsinerdei tündeherceg ügyes harcos, jól bánik az íjjal, és költői lelkületű, szereti a szépet. Egyik kedves motívumom a könyvben (egyébként a filmben is) Legolas és Gimli barátsága - tudnivaló, hogy a tündék és a törpök nem kedvelik egymást, ők ketten azonban a kezdeti viták után gyorsan bajtársakká és barátokká válnak.

The time has come for the third Lord of the Rings chocolate!

And this became Legolas' bonbon. Even though Legolas is only a supporting character (we could even say a boring cutie :D), fortunately he got more space in the movie; there we can get to know him better. The elven prince of Mirkwood is a gifted warrior, he can handle the bow and arrow and he has a poetic soul, he likes beauty. One of my favourite motives in the book (and also in the movie) is the friendship of Legolas and Gimli. It is well-known that elves and dwarfs don't like each other, the two of them still become comrades and friends after the initial quarrels.

Legolas csokijának külsejét az erdőtündékhez illő arany és zöld színekkel díszítettem. Belül lime-zselé és zöldalma ganache található - a szokatlan, friss ízpárosítás, úgy vélem, illik a tündék örökifjú létéhez.

The outside of Legolas' chocolate was decorated with green and gold, which fit the elves of the Woodland Realm. Inside there's lime jelly and green apple ganache - the unusual, fresh combination fits the ageless existence of the elves.

 Hozzávalók:

150+80 gr fehércsoki

matcha

egy lime leve

fél zöldalma

pár csepp citrom

agaragar

lüszterpor

Elkészítés:

Olvasztott kakaóvajjal kevert arany lüszterrel márványozom a csokiforma mélyedéseit. Temperálok 150 gr fehércsokit, amibe belekeverek egy fél kiskanálnyi matchát, így halványzöld színt kapok. Elkészítem a csokiburkokat.

Kifacsarom a lime-ot, teszek bele negyed kiskanálnyi agaragart, és addig melegítem, míg az fel nem olvad. Amikor a lé kezd összeállni, a forma minden mélyedését félig megtöltöm vele, és a hűtőbe teszem.

Meghámozom az almát, 50 grammnyit lereszelek belőle. Belefacsarok pár csepp citromlevet, hogy ne barnuljon meg, felmelegítem, és hozzákeverek 80 gr fehércsokit. A ganache-sal megtöltöm a bonbonforma mélyedéseit. Hűtőbe teszem.

Temperálom a maradék fehércsokit, lezárom a bonbonokat.

Ingredients:

150+80 gr white chocolate

matcha

juice of one lime

half green apple

some drops of lemon

agaragar

lustre dust

Recipe:

With the mixture of melted cocoa butter and golden lustre dust, I marble the cavities of the mould. I temper 150 gr white chocolate, in which I add half small spoon of matcha, thus I get a light green colour. I prepare the chocolate shells.

I squeeze the lime, I put 1/4 small spoon of agaragar in the juice and I warm it until the agaragar dissolves. When the liquid starts to jellify, I half fill the shells and I put the mould in the fridge.

I peel the apple, I shred 50 gr. I squeeze some drops of lemon in it so that it won't turn brown; I warm it up and combine it with 80 gr white chocolate. I fill the shells with the ganache. I put the mould in the fridge.

I temper the leftover white chocolate, I seal the bonbons.

Amikor a Gyűrűk Ura első része lement a moziban, a neten viharos gyorsasággal terjedtek az ún. "Gyűrűk Ura naplók", amiken akkoriban igen jókat szórakoztunk, és afféle korai netes kultiromány lett. A közkinccsé vált naplók közül Legolaséból idézek itt egy kicsit:

"Hatodik nap:

A Bányában még ahhoz is sötét van, hogy rendesen megfésüljem a hajam. Nagyon félek, hogy gubancos lesz. Az orkok tök hülyék. Még mindig én vagyok a legszebb.

Tizenegyedik nap:

Lothlórien. Azt hiszem, Galadriel szebb, mint én. Viszont biztos, hogy leutánozta a frizurámat. Én is pont így néztem ki ezer évvel ezelőtt, mint ő most. Hülye muff. Totál kiakadt, hogy a tükrös szökőkútjában vettem habfürdőt. Ráadásul azzal vádolt, hogy az én hajamtól dugult el a lefolyója. Hazugság, nyolcszáz éve egyetlen hajszálam se hullott ki, miért pont most kezdene el? Messze én vagyok a legszebb."

When the first part of the Lord of the Rings was showed in the cinemas, the so-called "Lord of the Rings diaries" spread with great velocity on Hungarian internet. We had loads of fun at them and they became kind of like an early internet cult. This time I will quote an excerpt from Legolas' diary:

"Sixth day:

It is way too dark in the Mine to comb my hair properly. I am very afraid that it will get shaggy. The orcs are totally stupid. I am still the most beautiful.

Eleventh day:

Lothlórien. I think Galadriel is more beautiful than me. But it's sure that she copied my hairstyle. A thousand years ago I looked exactly like she does now. Stupid bird. She got totally upset that I took a bubble bath in her mirror fountain. Moreover, she accused me that her drain got clogged from my hair. What a lie, not a single hair fell out in eight hundred years, why would it start just now? I am by far the most beautiful."
